One chose liberalism and debt, suffice it to say she will be working until 65 or beyond. The rest of us talk of early retirement but for being bored. Really ****es her off when we get together and start that discussion. But she did it to herself, the only one to go bankrupt. I actually feel sorry for her at times, the price is a heavy one emotionally to be the only liberal debt loving loser. Interesting that when I asked about success in life, you equated that with money. Let's try again. Anyone in your family successful in life? someone once said 'the love of money is the root of all evil'...some famous guy... Seems as if your are very unhappy, and it is all about the lack of money in your case. Jealousy is a vicious disease that will turn a person into a mean and nasty old man. Is that your explanation for Canuck and McGee? They're jealous, mean and nasty? (Sounds like a bad vaudeville act... Canuck and McGee, playing those two favorites of yesteryear, "Dumb and Dumber.") No, it is an explanation for you, Harry. You are a class warrior who wants equal outcomes in place of equal opportunity. Success is defined by each and every individual. Have I achieved success in my life? I have achieved about 60% of my current success criteria. Sorry, Clyde, but I'm not "jealous" of anyone here, or anywhere else, for that matter. And this country has a long way to go before "equal opportunity" becomes a reality. As what was already said, it is clear you are about equal outcomes in place of equal opportunity. Hell, the USA is the most equal opportunity place on the planet. Which is what you don't like as you want equal outcome even if you are a screw up. Harry is in favor of everyone attaining his level of success, but not exceed it. Some would agree with him but most wouldn't want to be held back. Agreed, these losers are their own limitations. -- Socialism and statism are great as long as someone else pays for it. |
