![]() GRANITE FALLS, Wash. -- Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man who said he accidentally shot his girlfriend to death with a gun they used during foreplay. Snohomish County sheriff spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said the man called 911 early Sunday morning to report that the 22-year-old woman had been shot. Deputies found the woman dead inside the home in the 23200 block of 134th Street NE when they arrived about 5:40 a.m. The 25-year-old man told investigators that he and his girlfriend had been drinking heavily at a party the night before, and insisted the shooting was an accident, Hover said. The couple's two young children were asleep on a different bed in the room at the time of the shooting. Hover said police records show three domestic violence incidents between the couple since 2007. The man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree manslaughter. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. The model American family.
