Tonight (wed),we are Roland Martin Marina on Lake Okechobee, so far
no serious problems, sorry Harry and jps. Was windy yesterday with about 17 kts from astern untill we got on the OKechobee waterway when it was abeam so we were going nearly 7 kts. Must have gone 68 miles. Stayed at a tiny marina called ":Jacks Marina" in Olga, FL and it was inexpensive and pleasant and the guy running it was very friendly. The waterway west of Labelle is very pretty with many homes with huge old Live Oak trees, very pretty. We sailed for hours today past orange groves that are blooming so the entire day we had the incredible scent of orange blossoms. Locks were no prob and my daughter quickly got the hang of them and of draw bridges. Roland Martin Martina |

No, you're the one with the problem. If want to post here and be one of the "guys", you have to keep up with the cast of characters. Even I do that, and I've been living on a boat in the Caribbean for over 2 months. Just make up a score card or small spreadsheet, that's really all you need. If you were doing that you'd know that Frog's daughter is of approximately college age and has/had a serious/steady boy friend. If you were better traveled in the boating world you'd know that every female between the ages of 9 and 90 has been "hit on" in the bar at Roland Martin's marina at one time or another. It's considered part of the nightly routine and entertainment. What ever you do, don't dance with "Little Man" the dock master. OK Harrry, it's time to defend your heroine/alter ego/sock puppet once again. Sick'm boy, good dog, good dog... |

It would make a difference to me and to my sis if that happened to my niece (who is 13). Sounds like you're the one with the problem. Poor baby. You're upset because I don't follow John's every post.... like I care if _you_ think it's a boys' club? It isn't. It's a newsgroup Wayne. Anyone can post. Anyone can ask a question. Even if _you_ don't like it. I asked a polite question and "anony" had a poop in his pants. Looks like you two need to get together and help wipe each other. I think I have a bit more experience with being hit on by guys, and my question was totally legit. If you're unable to deal with it, I suggest you talk talk to a therapist. -- Nom=de=Plume Why should he 'talk talk' to a therapist, D'Plume? You seem to feel you know all the answers. I know know you're a lowlife stalker. -- Nom=de=Plume You, "'know know?" Yes yes you you are are an an idiot idiot stalker stalker -- Nom=de=Plume D'Plume, Is that mode of communication duly a product of your eyes being crossed? |
