jon chait in the 'new republic' has a great note about an ultra right
wing libertarian farmer, kitty rehberg, complaining about the welfare
cheats who are now going to freeload off the govt.

turns out that, in the last 15 years, her farm got $350,000 in
agricultural subsidies

the right wing...when they're not being hypocrites, or killers,
they're liars

Family values and personal responsibility is what they're all about,
unless personally inconvenient. Then it's just for everyone else.

My view of Libertarians is they simply want power so they can fill their
pockets with lucre.
They are perhaps the most transparently hypocritical of the political
colorings.

Absolutely incorrect. Libertarians don't want power at all. They
just want the government to stop picking their pockets.

That is one of many ways to express the Libertarian creed.
Another is to say it is they who should be doing the pocket picking, and
the government should stay out of their business.
In the end, the same goal is reached.

people's pockets

'welfare queens' and healthcare

except she forgot to mention her farm got $350K from agricultural
subsidies

Hear, hear. I've had the same conversation with right leaning
libertarian who went on and on about how there will always be poor
people and those who are smart enough to take advantage of the
situation should be left to do so.

Dildos.

I wonder how many at Goldman Sachs are "libertarians."
