I needed a couple of new Polyform fenders and some other stuff, and
ended up ordering from a place I'd never used before. Their web site
is:

http://www.jamestowndistributors.com

They shipped quickly and the prices were reasonable. They included a
catalog in the box, and I was surprised to see that they have a lot of
wooden boat building and repair supplies. Epoxies, several types of
glass and kevlar cloths, bottom paint, varnish, tools, etc. A pretty
nice selection it seemed. Located in Rhode Island.

Just thought I'd pass along a good experience.

They have been a standard for boatbuilders for a long time. Their
internet services are very good too. Surprised you hadn't found them
earlier. I use them a lot for hardware as I get my building materials
more locally in most cases. But if you need a special marine part, they
will usually have it.

You've stated here more than once you no longer build boats because of
health issues.

Why do you "use them a lot"?

You have to be building a boat to use boat hardware? What a moron!

How's those nasty yellow teeth working for you? You really need to get
over your infatuation with dicks.

Jamestown Distributors is a good outfit but don't always have the best
prices. If I'm shopping price I'll always take a look at Defender
Industries. Their mail order operation has gotten to be quite
efficient.

You're right. It doesn't hurt to shop around, and it's good to at
least have a second recomendation and the more options the better.

Thanks Wayne!
