Holy crap, this is the height of hypocrisy: snip Can You See Me Now? Did you know that the federal government can track your whereabouts using data from your BlackBerry and cell phone? And brace yourself, liberals, because the Obama administration supports this monitoring without a warrant. According to the Obama Justice Department, there is no reasonable expectation of privacy when it comes to the location of American's cell phones. CNET News reports that the administration believes no rights are violated when a phone company reveals its records to the government. All of this is being argued by the Justice Department before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia. The government wants to overturn a previous ruling that would require warrants in order to obtain cell phone data. Liberals complain when the Bush administration monitored phone conversations between terrorists, so where is the outrage now? /snip Where are the screaming trustfund babies? Scotty |

Cell phones, GM call home, Blackberries, laptops running Microsoft, iPods and other devices routinely call home. An example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NSAKEY Utter bad words to Obama, any all the name calling, arm twisting... sort of reminds me of reading about 1935 and the Third Reich. People, businesses today live and die on back room deals. How corporate bond holders in GM got screwed over by the administration circumventing corporate law. No end to debt spending, it is so far out of whack that thinking it will get better now without radical conservative change is nuts. Government is now out of control. Toyota has about 1/3rd the number of complaints and recalls as say GM. I can't believe all of a sudden Toyota is the bad egg over night. Sounds more like a GM and NHTSA, both ansering to Obama don't like Toyota. I wonder why? Because if Toyota goes down like GM, then Japan might go down. If that happens, banks in the US will go down. Obama's actions, skip his bull**** talk, seem aimed at weaking the US and west so bad, we alive today may not see the recovery. Someone needs to stop Obamanation. |

And brace yourself, liberals, because the Obama administration supports this monitoring without a warrant. It is also for taxes, as I said government does not trust, but fears it's citizens. Say I am IRS and got a person I think is offshore evading taxes. Just track his cell. We know from Iraq that the US government can covertly control communications. You don't think their phones going out so fast was a coincidence? According to the Obama Justice Department, there is no reasonable expectation of privacy when it comes to the location of American's cell phones. CNET News reports that the administration believes no rights are violated when a phone company reveals its records to the government. A slow, but definite decay of privacy. First a little, then a little more, and a little more... Did you know it is also possible with software to turn a cell phone into a wire tap bug? Will not even ring. All of this is being argued by the Justice Department before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia. The government wants to overturn a previous ruling that would require warrants in order to obtain cell phone data. If it is important, it is important enough to get a warrant. Or should be. Liberals complain when the Bush administration monitored phone conversations between terrorists, so where is the outrage now? When the liberals figure this out, they will smarten up. Where are the screaming trustfund babies? Scotty What is a trustfund babies? |
