David BTW, this stove has an ingenious mechanism for holding pots when the stove tilts. Whenever I see something like that, I am in awe of the person who could conceive of it. That is one mechanism I will keep in mind for future reference. This simple mechanism has a slide around the outside of a cylinder. When it slides, it causes three holders to move in or out to hold onto various size pots. I have been looking for a way to make a simple square iris (for my various optical systems) and one mechanism I thought of was patented while I dithered (by an aquaintance of mine at that). So I have been looking for an alternative arrangement and something based on this gadget would work well. |
