Enjoy your new printer. You should be proud! Callaway Diablo. Probably get three or four new printers. Printers don't come with graphite shafts. But then, Callaway drivers don't come with WalMart stickers. ~snerk~ Herring needs a chinese knockoff callaway to shoot in the 90's...my uncle shot in the low to mid 70's most of his life with a set of cheap wilson clubs from a sporting goods store. BTW, I'd guess my new printer cost at least twice as much as your $200 driver. Callaway Diablo can be had for $186 from Overstock. In Herring's hands, it'll just put him that much further into the woods. I can hit my $29 second hand Taylormade 540HD 100 yards further than Herring with his new Diablo. Waste of money on a feeble old man. Maybe he should have donated that money to a worthy cause, like Race for the Cure. Heheh...my new printer was $414...though I suppose with herring's taste, he could have bought "three or four" printers that serve his needs for that amount of money. I don't know anything about golf. I played one or two rounds almost 40 years ago. My 93-year-old uncle played 18 holes four times a week until his 90th...he's slowed down a bit but he did play and win a good number of local senior tournaments as an amateur. Uncle retired at 55 and moved to Boca Raton from Salem, Massachusetts. He plays with a cheap, old set of clubs. Wow! $414! My new Colt AR15 was $1700. Do I win a prize? I am so impressed with the golf stories by Harry and jps's golf club. Wow, a Taylormade 540HD 100 - what a club! That's like a Porsche 911, something I dream of, but will never obtain. And Harry's uncle! What a man. I'm surprised Harry didn't tell you about the time he shot in the low 70's when he first tried golf way back when. You've probably never heard that story, but it was a good one. Sorry, **** for brains...I shot in the 80's and it was at the Boca Raton Club. Rented clubs, too. But don't forget to repeat your lie about me a few hundred times...so it beccmes part of the book of mis-knowledge here. From what you have posted here, my 93-year-old uncle could still whip your ass on the golf course. First time out? Bull****, Harry. First time I ever played. I shot a 91. Do not think I ever got that low again when I played golf. 9 Holes, Bill? Maybe 18, but with very loose rules would be my guess. Oh, and lots of 'gimmies'. -- "Your honor can never be taken from you. Cherish it, in yourself and in others." (Unknown) John H Nope, no gimmies. I was actually a great putter. Peewee golf was easy in my younger days. But I was maybe 23 when I first played. One of those days, where never hit a sand trap, and since I did not drive the ball 300 yards, and those 150 yards I drove were low and down the fairway. Good roll. Clubs were too short for me, so never drove those balls in to the boonies. Do not think I ever equaled that score more than 1 or 2 times. Normally shot 100-110. Herring is a crappy golfer with no natural abilities. Why are you jealous of herring? You have a more expensive printer. You have a slightly bigger boat. Your wife took you to the mall yesterday and bought you a nice meal. You have it all. Then, why are you jealous of Herring and several others here? |
