Default Brown Wins, Democrats bit the dust

Personally, I think the Republican Party is still dead in the water.
There is considerable anger at the Democrats ineffectual administration,
but you make a big mistake if you think that translates to happiness with
Republicans. It doesn't. Take a look at Scott Brown. He should be a
new model for the Republican Party. A man who is fiscally conservative,
with a social conscience, but he won't be.

Instead, the Republican Party will cater to it's fundamentalist Christian
base, with a few racist fossils like Herring thrown in. Just look at the
numbers, 20 to 25% of the population doesn't make a national party. It's
a shrinking and dying demographic. Unless Republicans become more
inclusive, their ideas will not be heard. They will continue to wither
away.
