Well, tells you what people think about Obamanomics, liberal corruption-debt-spend and liberal health care tax grab. Obama's honeymoon just ended with one year in office. One year of Ombama has democrats voting republican. LMAO. Some democrat aught to email this to Obama: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiM6JAQZwHI Hehe, especially since 3 out of 4 voters in MA are democrat... that says A LOT!!! BZZZZTTTT. Wrong, sorry. Something like 51% of the voters are registered independents, three out of four of the remaining voters are indeed Democrat, in fact I think it's closer to 80/20 iirc. But three of four are not dems... Time to listen to the lefties (harry mainly) WHINE. --Mike From what I read, most are independent. At least the result was positive. The results are phenomenal. Remember, the dems who are saying "the pendulum swings, this is normal", less than a year ago were saying the Republican party was dead, "and might not come back for decades". Looks like Pelosi and Reid ruined things for President Obama. To bad really, it will be a shame for the first Black President to go down in history as another failure like Jimi Carter... Ugh, who I voted for ![]() Scotty |

Ugh, who I voted for ![]() Scotty Personally, I think the Republican Party is still dead in the water. There is considerable anger at the Democrats ineffectual administration, but you make a big mistake if you think that translates to happiness with Republicans. It doesn't. Take a look at Scott Brown. He should be a new model for the Republican Party. A man who is fiscally conservative, with a social conscience, but he won't be. Instead, the Republican Party will cater to it's fundamentalist Christian base, with a few racist fossils like Herring thrown in. Just look at the numbers, 20 to 25% of the population doesn't make a national party. It's a shrinking and dying demographic. Unless Republicans become more inclusive, their ideas will not be heard. They will continue to wither away. |

Oh no, it's a wake up call that the Democrats ignore at their peril, and yes, there are lessons to be learned. Now, while you are all giddy, let me know the lessons you learned from New York 23? It has been a long time since Massachusetts has elected a Republican Senator. All the way back to the late 1960s, when they elected Edward Brooke, IIRC. New York, 23, *had* been Republican, however, since the 1800s. Again, lessons learned? |

I think the teabaggets are going to give Brown a pass on his less than perfect rightwing credentials for at least a while. The question is, is he electable in the next election, which is only 35 weeks (or so) away. I doubt it. I'm more concerned about the recent Supreme Court decision to relax the limits on corporate and union campaign contributions. This does not help the continued feeding frenzy in DC. -- Nom=de=Plume |
