I thought the passengers sat over the the cargo bays. The tanks are in the
wings. And the force is not likely to be that much sides ways to rupture a
tank. More likely to blow off a wing than explode the tank.


I'll bet if he'd lit the fuze and leaned against the cockpit door he
would have created some havoc.

I'll further bet that no one here would volunteer to fly on an
airplane with that much explosive about to go off, regardless of how
'little' damage it would do.
