Winter dreaming....
It's 10 degrees outside, and will get to 1 or two below tonight. And I
remind myself, that we only have to put up with about another 90 days or so of this stuff, before it's time for me to dig out the boats. Every time I go into the warehouse and look at them, I'm reminded of how long the winter seems but actually how fast time really flies by. Sometime (hopefully) in the near future, I'll be able to look at them and say. "Ok, guys, lets go for a ride!" C'mon Spring! |

It's cold here, too! 16 this morning, not going to get above freezing today, got a little snow, which thawed on the roads, then froze into ice. |

Time for the washing and waxing and general pre- maintenance for April. The crappie will be biting like crazy at KY Lake in March. I'm going to sneak down there for a weekend near the end of March. (The boat at Town & Country Marina will need to be de-winterized, too.) And the mushroom hunting in the Jonathon Creek area is pretty good around that time. -- Posted via NewsDemon.com - Premium Uncensored Newsgroup Service -------http://www.NewsDemon.com------ Unlimited Access, Anonymous Accounts, Uncensored Broadband Access |

Winter dreaming....
C'mon Spring! I'll be out on the boat this weekend. Forecast highs for this weekend are in the low 70' s . Probably see a couple of wakeboarders out on the lake. Great time of year for it. Very little traffic on the water. Mostly just fishermen and a few people like me enjoying the sunshine and cool days. RG |

The flippers kind of remind me of a penguin swimming underwater. Pretty efficient propulsion. I'd like to try one sometime. They're not cheap, though. They get a pretty good buck for them. But I like the idea of having both hands free for holding a camera or a beer. Russ |

You can get them for about $1450 new. The dealers can not advertize discounts, but they give them. He wants 12 for his. |
