I am buying three hourglass rollers for the keel of my boat. The keel does
not have a kickout where I can use a regular spool roller. I measured a couple of places where I want to put the rollers, and there is a different angle. I take that back, the front receiving roller will be a spool roller, as at that point of the keel, there's an aluminum cover that kicks out about 1.5". The rest is just a vee'd seam with a strip of joining metal. Do the hourglass rollers come in a lot of angles? There is a large difference in the prices due to different materials. Is the differences softness, UV durability, what? BTW, thanks for the West Marine suggestion. That's about a block from my doctor's office, and I'll be going there very soon. Steve |

It has some rollers that need redone due to the center bushings being gone and a couple are splitting. , so I'm thinking on getting some pretty yellow ones and re-do the trailer. I was thinking of something like these http://www.championtrailers.com/ROLLERS.htm I'll do some shopping around and see what i can find. |

But Slidell was nowhere as devastated as NOLA proper. They had water damage up to five miles from the lake, but the water did not stay for weeks. Also, Slidell is a lot more middle class and self sufficient. I went to Slidell with the our local Presbyterian Church. Buddy is a member of it to help Habitat for Humanity. Lots more community involvement. |
