Looks like Tiger is on his own.
Tag Heuer (sp?) has cancelled Tiger's contract.
I guess we'll see how good he is, and if he can survive on just playing golf. I wonder how much a month Elin is going to ask for. Overall, she'll probably make out better than Tiger. I hope Tiger doesn't take the death spiral thing. He's a joy to watch on the links. Steve |

Just look to Martha Stewart, she seems to be holding her own. I tend to have more sympathy for a football player, or such, who has a relatively short career, and stupidly ****es all his money away, Lawrence Taylor, for example. I agree that golf is boring in person. It's like watching a movie being filmed. B-O-R-I-N-G. On TV, though, they can change cameras to different holes, the action is pretty continuous, you only have to walk to the fridge and bathroom, and the beers aren't $7. Steve |

But I do agree about the athletes (and others) who either squander a fortune, or have shifty managers they appoint take their money. I knew Mike Tyson when Cuz was managing him. He was just a kid. He was in bed every night by ten, and out at 5 for road work. Then Cuz died, and Mike indulged himself, at times having entourages of 40 hangers on come with him on visits to The Las Vegas Hilton.
