Nothing for nothing, but Tiger is reported to be the first billionaire
sportsman. I think he will do more than well. I'd also note, we, as a
people, are rather forgiving. Just look to Martha Stewart, she seems to
be holding her own. I tend to have more sympathy for a football player,
or such, who has a relatively short career, and stupidly ****es all his
money away, Lawrence Taylor, for example. Hell, Tiger still has 15 to 20
years of his career ahead of him.

Agreed. Even here on usenet. You can pull a complete faux paux, and just
lay low for two weeks, and it's all forgotten.

But I do agree about the athletes (and others) who either squander a
fortune, or have shifty managers they appoint take their money. I knew Mike
Tyson when Cuz was managing him. He was just a kid. He was in bed every
night by ten, and out at 5 for road work. Then Cuz died, and Mike indulged
himself, at times having entourages of 40 hangers on come with him on visits
to The Las Vegas Hilton. He paid for a lot of them.
