Doesn't anyone here talk about boats--all this political junk and

What's a boat?
something you put gravy in.
I just use the pan I cooked it in. You actually use a gravy boat
thingee?
Must be nice to be rich and couthful.

Well, usually not, but the wife likes to dig it out when we have
guests over.
She cringes when everybody properly dips out of it with the matching
ladle, then I pull the ladle out and go pouring it out of the spout.
"Well? It looks like Aladdins lamp to me!..."
reply: Don't forget to get that little dribble that goes down the side. I
just use my main finger and then pop it in my mouth with a comment on how
good the gravy is. It's bad manners to leave a dribble on the gravy boat,
dontchaknow.

I don't get my fingers greasy. One good lick usually takes care of the
problem.

My wife would throw whatever she had in her hand at the moment. Carving
knive, meat fork, spoon, potato salad, waterglass, it wouldn't matter.
Don't ask me how I know. I licked my butter knife one time, and am still
hearing about that one.

Holy crap, hope that was some special dinner. Hell, in private family
dinners, I have probably licked my wife's fingers! I know I have eaten
out of her hand at the table.. Your wife would kill me I guess
