Bull****. But if you have to defend them, it's as good a bull**** as
anyone puts out.

Blindly following, indeed!

Yep, the right will do anything at any cost to derail anything the
left does, not matter how good it is, how many people will benefit, or
what it will do.

It seems arrogant of you to assume that nobody can have a truly opposing
point of view. And when one is as one sided as "some here", everybody
will seem to be on the "other side"....

don't...

No, it was Senator Jim DeMint.

Wow, pretty tame compared to what Murtha and that moron from Florida
have said;)

Hey, I never said it was a big deal. I did use it to dispute John's
statement "an adequate health care bill it would pass with support from
both sides". I don't buy it. IMO, the Republicans would vote No on
anything the Democrats proposed.

There's a fairly long blog here that explains why there is no GOP health
care plan alternative:

It wouldn't just be an opinion. It's a guarantee, which is sad.

process? Frankly, this is how it's done. It's ugly, untidy, but there's
nothing new here.

Sunshine and openness were the footblocks of Obama's campaign. You hold
repubs more accountable for screwing around on their wives because they
campaign on "family values", so we can hold you to "change and
openness", right??

He's an order of magnitude more open than the Bush adm.

What does what Murtha has to say have anything to do with what DeMint
has to say?

You have stated several times that folks who have opposing points of
view must either be "lying or uninformed", never admitting that there
could be a legitimate "opposing point of view"...

Maybe if the dems had let them into the meetings and allowed some of
their core ideas into the bill. It's not hard to see that they were
totally shut out of the whole process...
