Throw it on the shelf. and the pres does the same to the house budget when he gets it Actually he can't do that. Either has to veto it or pass it. To pass it, he either signs the bill or lets 10 days pass. The only time that can not happen is on a "Pocket Veto". And most budgets are not passed less than 10 days before adjournment. |
