Eight foot sturgeon caught on the Sacramento River!
Well, Sturgeon are on the endangered list. Reading your posts about catching them is stupid enough. Trying to catch them is absolutely stupid. You're one of those people who fish them to extinction, then say " Where'd all the Sturgeon go?" Then I suggest you quit being stupid by NOT reading my posts! You have a strange way with words. Catching sturgeon is legal. If you have a problem with it, don't catch 'em. But enviro-whackos like you have no sway on my fishing, and I greatly enjoy knowing that I have you all stirred up over my recreational choices. Thanks for the entertainment! Every sturgeon I have kept is legal. So apply your enviro-whacko nonsense to yourself and leave me the hell out of your plans to "save the sturgeon"|. |

My first day was a skunk near Decker Island, but a boat nearby had to raise anchor to drift with a huge eight footer to get him to the boat - and away from the damn furbag who tried to steal him. They managed to boat him and move him back downriver to save him from the sea lion - and I caught a great photo of him as they released him. On the second day I cruised down to Suisun Bay for a glorious day of calm water and sunshine - but no sturgeon action. Day three, back at Decker Island near Rio vista, I managed to reel in a 46 incher that I chose to release for another day. I stayed at Delta Marina and RV Park in Rio Vista, a very nice place to spend nights in the coach and days on the water. Keeping the boat at the dock sure makes heading out each day a pleasure. Photos and more story on my homepage: www.FishWisher.com Dale Great story and great pictures. Wow! Thanks. -- John H |

Nothing I ever do or witness will NOT pale in comparison to some great and mighty adventure you have READ about. But I'll likely keep on posting my stories and perhaps you can just pass over them as you know they'll all pale in comparison to something you've READ. Try doing. Dale Dale, most of us have filtered the guy simply because of his bad manners. Please pay him no heed. It simply gets his juices flowing.
