West of Tallahassee: Dead Lakes area of the Chipola River. The millpond on the east side of Marianna is very long and clear offering a lot of good fishing. Lake Talquin along the Ocklocknee River and any point along the Ocklocknee River. The big lakes near Tallahassee such as Jackson, Iamonia and Miccosukee are just coming back from beaing nearly dry for a few years so prob not too good. East of Tallahassee: Anywhere along the Suwanee. |
