It's a show trial - Gary Powers style. Gotta take the heat off the
adminstration for being not only inept, but just plain stupid.
Misdirection. Really - I thought, if by "one in a million" chance it
does happen and KSM is aquitted, the whole point of a trial was that
the defendant goes free? Isn't that how our justice system is
supposed to work? You know - like OJ?

Using this outrage as precedence - what do you guys think the betting
line would be on Obama declaring a "State of Emergency" before his
administration is over - you know - Martial Law?

For the children's sake?

Both President Obama and the Holder said on TV, (Obama over seas) that
these guys "would be convicted", "ultimate punishment" and several other
things that makes sitting a jury almost impossible. If we go by the
constitution, these guys walk, if not, another Obama promise to
"showcase the American Justice system", is a joke...

Pure bull****. I was listening to Hannity on the way home, a lawyer
called in. Now this guy knew what he was talking about, he had BEEN a
federal judge, BEEN a federal prosecutor, and BEEN a federal defense
attorney. ALL of Fox and Hannity's bull**** talking points on the
subject were blown completely out of the water. Even the Miranda issue.
In the end, all Hannity could do is his usual, go attack some other
aspect of liberalism.

Yeah, and of course the liberals speculation and opinion "ALLWAYS"
trumps the conservatives! Harryism loogie, you are more guilty of it
here than most... You should reach over the isle once in a while instead
of letting ideology always cloud your judgment...

It wasn't "opinion" it was FACT. The guy used FACTS. All Hannity had was
speculation. But of course, because Hannity's a conservative, I'm sure
the right will still believe Hannity's speculation over the lawyers
experience and facts on the subject.

He's the Attorney General, it's his job to bring charges and get

Fitzgerald tried that with my boy Blago.
Blago will walk.

He could get convicted on his hair alone. His wife's mouth could get
him convicted. His brother could get him convicted. His choice of
Roland Burris should get him convicted.

Lots of people jealous of Rod's hair.
Especially those losing their own.
A little close to home, eh?

Well, yes. But even if I weren't thining I'd think that hairdo was
giving Traficant a run for his wig.

Two words. Allan Lichtman.

http://img.youtube.com/vi/F0uW3Iaku0Q/0.jpg

He used to make the rounds of the talking head shows, then ran for the
Senate or something in Maryland.
Then a couple years ago I heard something about him getting arrested
in some kind of political fracas.
Couple days ago he popped up on one of the cable channels doing a
talking head bit. I laughed. Really looked like a wig.
Blago is the real stuff.

I think you're wrong. I think they both said these guys "would not be
acquitted". There's probably a difference, but it would take a lawyer
like Loogy or the Plum to figure it out.
