1775: During the American Revolution, U.S. forces captured Montreal.

Then we gave it back... I wonder why? g

Of course they did. They couldn't do it individually so they had to
ally with each other.

But in the end both the Brits and the Canadians lost to the U.S.. Or
did you not read that in history?

No, they went home and partied, seeing no opposing force of any kind.
Canada retained Canada....or didn't they teach you that in American
History....oh, thats right, they only fed you bull****.LOL.
Study the battle of Lundys Lane. The American leader was too busy
nursing his hangover to lead his troops properly......

Montreal is a pretty nice place. at least fromt he few times I've been
there.
