We're better off strategically and in some cases specifically, but we're less well off as far as things like unemployment and deficit spending goes. The former is wildly more important, but only in the long-term. The latter is wildly more inportant in the short-term, but not so much in the long-term. We're better off strategically and in some cases specifically, but we're less well off as far as things like unemployment and deficit spending goes. The former is wildly more important, but only in the long-term. The latter is wildly more inportant in the short-term, but not so much in the long-term. Obama cannot be credited with much of either. Not Bush is a big part of the former and the economy is one he inherited. He has an attractive personality and great outlook so he's definitely helped the former. I hope his decision making helps the latter recover more quickly than it would by natural means. |
