Odd. Don't Dems also want to prosecute Americans for employing illegals? Yes. Very strange. perhaps goldman sachs, with their recently announced average salaries and bonuses of $700,000, could help. that, courtesy of reagan/bush Goldman Sachs seems to run finances in all administrations, especially this one. i'd rather give it to illegal aliens than legal thieves on wall street Yet, our glorious government still favors Wall Streeters. I agree that when money is printed and spent by the same people, this kind of corruption happens. If you are referring to such governments as "socialism", you have a point. If you are just referring to the other party - the one that spends the deficit differently from your party, then your point is lost. Do you have a proposal that you believe could work - separating out the spending from the money printing? Maybe give up the power to print money to some international body? Or do you prefer that we go back to gold, and no more IOUs such as loans on paper? -- "In no part of the constitution is more wisdom to be found, than in the clause which confides the question of war or peace to the legislature, and not to the executive department." - James Madison |

The further decisions can be made from the individual, the greater the corruption, cronyism and politics as usual. An international body is further from individual control. http://www.ny.lp.org/choice There are people who think the 16th&17th Amendments need to be repealed along with the Federal Reserve Act. -- "In no part of the constitution is more wisdom to be found, than in the clause which confides the question of war or peace to the legislature, and not to the executive department." - James Madison |
