but at the same time - hysterically funny.

It's got to be a hoax.

That's what I thought. Some of his movements seemed a little too
exaggerated.

Nope - I'd bet he was .3 or higher.

Seen it a number of times.

I followed a female as she drove on to her driveway. Had spotted her
only a couple blocks earlier and knew right away that she may be under
the influence. Didn't need to do a test. She hit .35 on the meter.
She was on the heavy side so that may explain how she could still be
driving. Normally, a .35 would be either dead or in a coma.
Another arrest was on a male driving E. bound on the W. bound lanes of
traffic on an expressway. He argued vehemently that he was going the
right way. He hit .28 iirc.
I didn't tolerate drunk drivers and had zero tolerance when making the
arrest, but I must admit, I did give a guy a break once.
After placing him in the back seat I realized I had left the keys in
the ignition and the doors were locked. I got him to open the drivers
door by reaching through the edge of the plate glass. Since he was
near his home and there was almost no traffic, I took him home for
opening the door.
