XP, latest service pack. SP3 I think.
The darn time sometime flips an hour one way or another.
Saw it keeping time an hour ahead about a week ago, so unchecked the
"adjust for daylight savings" box to get it right.
Now I just noticed it was an hour behind, and checking the box fixed
it. It don't make sense.

It's screwy. I think you're supposed to enable the computer figure it
out once the patch is installed.

Speaking of patches, if you haven't heard, Microsoft just released a
record number, some critical. While personally, I don't know why anyone
would be using such buggy software, ;-), if you do, you might want to
download the updates.

My system checks for updates every night. It's easier than trying to keep up
manually.

I think that is just the confusion about when DST starts. It is always
flaky between the old DST time and the current one.
I keep that option turned off.


I've been using it for quite a while with no problems. It hasn't gotten
confused on my comp.
