![]() This woman only has a platform based on her daddy's evil life. She's destined to take her rightful place among the pantheon of idiotic voices that populate the extreme right wing... Liz Cheney, daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, told Fox News' Chris Wallace that President Barack Obama should not travel to Oslo in December to accept the Nobel Prize. Cheney called the prize a "farce" that could only be legitimized if the family of a US military member accepted it. "I think the president himself understands he didn't earn this prize and therefore the notion that this White House has said he would go to Oslo to accept the prize would add to the farce," said Cheney. Yes, spit in the face of Europe. That's exactly what Bush or Cheney would have done. |

That would send a message that peace doesn't come free, which is something the Norwegians tend to forget. I think the USA lost a few more soldiers during WWII than they did. |

How many moms from WWI or WWII U.S. soldiers are available for a trip to Norway? :) Or are you suggesting we send the mom of a soldier killed in Iraq because of George W. We invaded a country on what's been proven was trumped up intelligence and we're going to send a member of our military as a shining example of peace? Cognitive dissonance is a concept you righties would benefit from understanding. I don't hold much hope since the double standard is the de facto standard with "conservatives." |

War of necessity and all that? How is 'Bama going to justify pulling out of Afghanistan while asking Pakistan to hunt down the Taliban? Or, should we just urge Pakistan to let the Taliban take over that country also? |
