Default Majority of Americans have some sense...

From MSNBC, no less (of course, someone will get fired for letting
this cat out ot the bag).

"An online straw poll by MSNBC asked whether Obama deserved the honor.
About 62 percent of more than 194,000 answers said no, about 24
percent said yes, while 13 percent said some day, but the award was
premature."

It's up to the Nobel committee, so it really doesn't matter what anyone else
thinks. But, continue to use this if you think it'll enhance your vision of
America.

You're right. They can hand out their prizes to whomever they damn
please. They don't have to justify their decisions to anyone. Who knows.
Maybe they just draw straws to pick a winner. It really doesn't matter,
does it?

It should matter what old man Nobel "intended" when he set it up... You
are so blinded by Obamamesiah, you can't even think straight when it
comes to this...

What Nobel intended, since you are too stupid and intellectually lazy to
look it up is that the prize be awarded to someone or some organization
who "...shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between
nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the
holding and promotion of peace congresses."

You're right. As Harry pointed out, the prize was to have been awarded
to, "...someone or some organization who "...shall have done the most
or the best work..."

Note the past tense - 'shall have done'.

Obama had not done squat when the decision was made.
