Why people who enjoyed freedom and prosperity worked passionately to destroy both is a fascinating question, one still with us today. Now the useful idiots can be found in the chorus of appeasement, reflexive anti-Americanism, and sentimental idealism trying to inhibit the necessary responses to another freedom-hating ideology, radical Islam" Bruce C. Thornton, a professor of Classics at American University of Cal State Fresno- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - like the people who weep when an american president wins a nobel prize, or jump for joy when the US loses the olympics? are those the useful idiots...enemies of america...lenin had in mind? Lenin probably never said that, anyway. It's often quoted, but historically unsupported. Gunner has displayed his ignorance of history before, so it would be typical of him to post such tripe. There was a rumor that Lenin said something of that nature to Gorky, but the quote appears nowhere in any of his writings or speeches. |
