It depends on why the animal was killed. Killing any animal for food,
IMO, is vastly different from doing so out of the enjoyment of
cruelty, which I believe the poster did. He knew tying the dog to a
choke chain overnight would result in, at the very least, significant
pain. No dog owner, not even Gunner, is so clueless as to not realize
that choke chains constrain the breathing and crush the throat. Hell,
that's why people use them, as a barbaric form of punishment.
