He may be ready to flee the pain. My mom is almost 95 and has gone downhill a lot in the last year. Someone said that with good care she might live another 5 years. She would not want that. She is a nurse and saw too many that did not know they were living during the last years. Again my thoughts go out to you. Look at the good times. |

Sorry to hear that Scott. My grandmother is about his age, and she's openly
said that she's ready. She survived my grandfather by 29 years now, and she misses him every day (as do I). I'm sure your dad feels the same way about your mom. When it's time, it's time. It may be for the best, but it's still hard...
