Default liberals and freedom of speech

I have lost track of the number of times I have seen liberals
expressing support for censorship of ideas they do not like. For
example, this morn there was a letter in the local paper by one who
thought the paper should not print letters from Oboma critics because
"They are lies" although what I saw seemed to be opinions. This
pattern is repeated time after time with libs favoring censorship. Of
course there is the odd right winger every now and then doing
likewise, normally a religious nut opposing anti-christian speech but
nobody pays attention to them anymore. In general, I see many more
examples of lefties than anybody else favoring censorship.
I believe the reason for this is that lefties always like authority so
they believe authority should engage in censorship.
