The silly thing is that from Reagan on, they ALL used teleprompters!
Sure they have. I see nothing wrong with using a teleprompter. That's
what they're made for.

That and singing kereoki...

So... which would you rather a President use it for?

Sing karaoke. I'd pay to see that.

Eh, I don't think I'd "pay" to see or hear it. Same way with Bubba
playing a saxaphone, and even though deceased. Richard Nixon playing
the piano.

Bubba died???

Now if I was invited to the WH to a dinner (which will never happen)
and BO wanted to sing.
I'd go!

lol

That's not limbag and beck.

But I'll take your word for it that Bachmann said it.

Really?

They urge riot and violence?

Just violence, so far.

That's news to me.

Not my fault.

But speaking of violence, the only thing I've really heard of is
*rightie* health care protesters getting the tar kicked out of them
and fingers being bit off.

Screaming, yelling, threatening representatives. Please post a link of the
many astroturfers who've been beaten, etc.

So, whose urging the violence?

Those who can't seem to have civil discourse.

That's not Rush or Beck... another one of the same. If you don't want to
take his word for it, look it up.

?? You said Bubba playing a sax, and even though deceased.. Oh, I see, you
used a period.

Mrs. Bubba is doing a nice job as Sec. of State. Mr. Bubba did a nice
service in N. Korea. He didn't have to go.

He's always using a Tele-Prompter, isn't Obama capable of public
speaking with a crutch?
He is hard to listen to when he doesn't have the prompter, ten times
worse than Bush but being a Dem, nobody dares talk about it, don't want
to be called a racist.

Did you know that since the time of George Washington, all presidents
have giving speeches using WRITTEN material? Some use teleprompters,
some paper. Please tell me what is the difference? Did you know that
Reagan used a teleprompter a LOT? Wait, I know the difference. It's just
another way to say something negative about a liberal.
Yeah, did you make those same excuses when Bush missed one word in a
speech and the left went nuts? Obama can't even form a sentence without
his prompter, like, uh, er, like, like, uh, uh........

No, because no one around me whined about him using his teleprompter.
Most people know the presidents use either a teleprompter or paper. It
wasn't until Obama came on the scene that suddenly it's like committing
hatchet murder to use one, even though it's commonplace.
Oh for God's sake... Bush was slammed for 8 years with jokes about the
way he spoke. Pictures of him looking like a monkey, even books written
and we can't note that Obama is just as bad, if now worse? Oh well, some
folks are just blinded by the specter of King Obama... Guess it's only
ok to point out faults if it's a white, male, republican, at least in
the media. Talk about racism and sexism... Yeah, the "tolerant" party!
snerk

You're completely missing the point. The point is about TELEPROMPTERS.
Your party has been constantly acting like he's the first and only
president who's ever used one. That's bull****.

Nope, we simply are pointing out that he can speak no better than Bush
without one, and typical to double standard, Bush was blasted for 8
years in the media, serious or otherwise, for his fumbling even though
it was nothing like Obama, or Carolyn Kennedy for that matter. But both
of them are off limits...

No way. Obama may stumble on occasion, but Bush would make up words.

So uh, er, and like are ok because somebody else used them first??
