One battery for engine starting only, the second battery for accessories only, using a "combiner" to keep the accessory battery charged. Putting two under the CC would be a real tight fit. I've just got to discipline myself to shut stuff off. An inexpensive solar panel will hold your charge between trips. It won't help you if you drain your battery with your stereo, etc., while the engine is off. |
