Cows and such make up the bulk of the greenhouse gas problem. Besides, the conditions that they are raised in are horrible. Who would want to eat a cow after visiting a traditional stockyard? Someone once said that it's better for the environment to eat a veggie burger in a Hummer than a burger in a Prius. Do you believe that putting a significant number of new nuke plants online is going to happen in less than a decade? Not that moving people from eating so much meat is fast process either, but the benefits are much greater and not just for oil consumption. -- Nom=de=Plume |
