Here in Tallahassee, Lake Jackson, a formerly great bass fishing lake
went dry when a sinkhole opened up and the whole lake went down the
drain. This happens every 20 years or so and then it plugs up a nd
lake comes back. City decided to use the opportunity to remove 30 yts
worth of nutrient laden sediment from the bottom to improve fishing
when it came back. OK, in comes the heavy earth moving equipment and
roughly $20 million dollars later, nobody can tell the diff.
OK, I read somewhere that cotton is bad cuz it depletes soil of
nutrients so.....................I suggest that that instead of all
that effort they simply plant cotton and use what they harvest to sell
or use for hay bales on construction sites. You'd have thought I'd
suggested the city commission join the KKK, Tallahassee being roughly
42% black and being sensitive to anything potentially racist, I was
labelled racist for mentioning planting cotton. You just cannot win
with liberals.
