As a matter of fact, I'll be in Bar Harbor, Maine next week, after a
trip through upstate NY, VT, and NH on the Guzzi.

Where are you riding that pink RAV4, Donnie?

Make that a pyrite mica RAV4.
The wife had mentioned Digby this long weekend. My youngest sister lives
down that way & I could get tips on metal roofing from her 'partner'.......
who seems to be doing a lot of metal roofing lately.
We also wanted to visit our dogs breeder . *Haven't seen them in a couple of
years.
Since the place will be full of rowdy 'merican bikers...might be a good
place to avoid.

There's always the odd chance herring will meet the same fate as Peter
Fonda and Dennis Hopper did in Easy Rider.

I think a " Vanishing Point " finish would suit Herring better.....

What an honor - being insulted by you *and* Harry. I guess your great
minds think alike, huh?

Harry appreciates your support.

If you do go down there, and you take the RAV4, please let your wife
drive. I've never been to a Harley rally in the states. Been to
Sturgis, on my bike, the week *before* the Harley rally, but not
during.

I did go to a couple Harley rallies in Germany. Harleys are very
popular over there. My Guzzi would always draw a big crowd, "A Moto
'what'?" They liked the fact that it was a V-twin, even if their
cylinders aimed the wrong way (in my opinion).

Are you leaving the kid to fend for himself? Better fetch a few cases
of Blue for him first.
