Jack Kennedy CAUSED the Cuban missile crisis by putting Jupiter missiles in Turkey less than 100 miles from the Soviet Union. *Anybody with more than 2 neurons would have expected the Soviets to respond in kind. *Guess what, the agreement for resolving the crisis was that the Soviets remove their missiles AND the USA would remove the missiles from Turkey. *I'd say Krushev was the hero in that Crisis by backing down. *I hate thinking good of the Soviets but in that case they were right. And the Bay of Pigs, what kind of moron would agree to such a thing AND then not support it once it was going? *Pure Kennedy cowardice. -- Nom=de=Plume The President is Commander in Chief, those missiles in Turkey need never have been deployed. *Kennedy could have stopped it at any time but he stupidly went along with it due to his own "missile gap" rhetoric in the 1960 campaign yeah just like clinton could have stopped NAFTA...it had been negotiated for years by bush. if he'd backed out the US would have lost credibility.. IOW you don't know **** So, Kennedy caused the Cuban Missile Crisis because he HAD NO COJONES to stand up to Lemay. *Seriously, the cowardice of Kennedy nearly caused a nuke war. *The only person who actually will look good to historians in this will be Krushev. if kennedy was a coward there would be nukes in cuba today IOW you don't know **** |

Now, if only Barney Frank would get Kaposi's sarcoma............ and i'm looking forward to taking a nice long **** on reagan's grave. there's a man who deserves hell for what? |

It is often difficult to make sense out of your comments. I consider it an insult to be lumped in with a coward like Ted Kennedy. I hope he suffered no more and no less than Miss Kopechne and I hope his hypocrisy is judged fairly in any afterlife. Teddy was a braver man than you will ever be. Compared to Kennedy, your accomplishments on behalf of your fellow man amount to less significance than the pus under a teenybopper's blackhead. In fact, the more you post here, the less respect I have for you. You more and more are coming across as a right-wing extremist lunatic. Bravery is not running away from an auto accident and sleeping off a drunk until the next morning and then coping to a leaving the scene of an accident. Ted Kennedy should have been in prison for the murder of Miss Kopechne. |

I'm betting that if he was a conservative, he'd be forgiven, correct? If he was a conservative he would have been in prison. |

I spit at the Kennedy compound back in '89 when I was attending a wedding at the chapel Arnold and Maria were married in and the reception was held at the Hyannis Port Club. Or whatever the name is of the yacht club that the Kennedy's were members of. |
