What in the hell do you need shoes for on a boat? Unless you're in Alaska. Wet gelcoat is slippery. Decent boat shoes grip the surface much better than bare feet. At least, that's why I wear boat shoes on the boat. I was raised on Puget Sound, and with the exception of being on a sail boat heeled over in a stiff wind, I've found no use for shoes on a boat. With the other exception being around the end of salmon season. -- Jordon |
