....on a kiddie motorcycle...

CNN - Ocean waves knocked several people into the Atlantic off Maine's
Acadia National Park Sunday. The victims were among several thousand
people who were at the park late Sunday morning to watch the high waves
that Hurricane Bill -- a Category 1 storm -- was kicking up offshore.
The waves knocked several people into the water, and some suffered
broken bones and back injuries, Sheridan Steele, the park's
superintendent, said.

i'm a radio operator for the CG in sandy hook, NJ. last august i was
coming back from a business trip to malaysia and turned on the CG
frequency for NY harbor, during my drive back from JFK airport

that night, the CG was looking for 4 people who'd been swept out to
sea by rip tides from coney island....these were big guys playing
water polo in 4' of water....

so tidal currents are DANGEROUS

The people swept away in Maine were at the "Blow Hole", a tourist
attraction in Acadia Park that I have visited a number of times. The
spot where most people stand is on a cliff about 20 feet above the
normal high tide line, and surrounded by very solid stainless steel
railings. The park rangers in one news account described it as a
rogue wave, presumably because it was much higher than average.

I missed the part where the girl was on a motorcycle. Of course she wasn't,
but harry knows how to "work" the internet. He stated it as fact, so when
unsuspecting souls search for info about the poor girl, harry's post will
pop up in the results. So... the narcissistic butt wipe shows up in millions
of searches, and he feels important. There was absolutely NO reason for
harry to start that thread other than what I've stated. Pretty pathetic
actually...

Just heard this morning that three teenagers were swept into the sea at
Peggys Cove.
Somehow, all three were rescued.

One of your assorted problems, dummy, is that *your "imagine" too much*.
You lack proof so you have to make up really stupid **** about anyone
outside of your little circle jerk. It's sad - REALLY.

"your "imagine" too much" ???
Get back to us when you have that speach impediment corrected, dummy.
