We just bought a new washer and dryer about 3 weeks ago too. They didn't
have a government program for that so we just wrote a check.

Back in 2002, when my wife and I were both laid off in February, we
actually paid more in taxes than our combined income in any previous
years of earning income. Figure that one out.
