We did buy an "American" car but it was made in Canada

Did you notice that GM has gained strength and is even calling back laid
off employees? Did you notice that Ford is showing profit?

The real problem is, what are they going to do next month?

The industry will starve just like the personal computer industry did a
year or so out from the Y2K hoax...

You may not be hearing it, but that is just the present administration
covering their ass. Unemployment is still increasing, there is all that
borrowed money to payback. Foreclosures are increasing and now it is not
the sub-prime loans, it is those that have lost their jobs and can not make
the payments.

I haven't been paying much attention to the program, but I was under the
impression that only the motor had to be destroyed, that the body could
be parted. Although, I would guess, with the glut in the market, they
might just crush them.

Florida, right? I noticed that. I had a friend who used to call me,
when he needed unusual parts. I'd buy them at my local junk yard, I mean
Auto Salvage, and send them down. Usually, with shipping, it was still
cheaper for him, than buying them local.
