Geez, you would think the Republicans would get on the same page. The
"Death Panel" was an amendment put in by a pro-life Republican, from your
state by the way. And, it makes sense.

Actually, there are more and more Republicans every day who are getting
fed up with the lies coming from the right concerning Obama's healthcare
plan.
It would be nice if Obama, Pelosi, Reid, etc. would stop telling all
the damn lies. Then all the Republicans (and lots of Democrats)
wouldn't be getting so fed up.

The lies about the healthcare issue is coming from the righteous right.

Nope. You're wrong. There may have been some slight exagerations, but
no lies.

The comments made by the right are based on the bill itself. How often
do you see the 'rebuttals' quoting the bill? They are simply adding
more bull**** to the fire.

When Obama says he doesn't want a single payer health plan, he is
telling a lie.

You don't think THIS is a lie?????

Chain e-mail: "On Page 425 of Obama?s health care bill, the Federal
Government will require EVERYONE who is on Social Security to undergo a
counseling session every 5 years with the objective being that they will
explain to them just how to end their own life earlier. Yes?They are
going to push SUICIDE to cut medicare spending!!!"

Page 425 does deal with counseling sessions for seniors, but it is far
from recommending a "Logan?s Run" approach to Medicare spending. In
fact, it requires Medicare to cover counseling sessions for seniors who
want to consider their end-of-life choices ? including whether they want
to refuse or, conversely, require certain types of care. The claim that
the bill would "push suicide" is a falsehood.

The model is already being set in Oregon. A man whit Hepatitis was
turned down for treatment but sent a letter suggesting that the state
would help him pay for "end of life" meds to end well, his life... That
is not a lie, it is an example of how far left medical coverage works...

So are you really saying that because Oregon did something that that is
what will be in the final bill that Obama is proposing? Really?

Obama has probably already had his Jimmy Carter moment when he finds
out Washington is a huge pit of quicksand and the harder you struggle
to change the situation the deeper you get mired down in ****.

This happens to everyone who goes in there from the outside world with
dreams of "streamlining government", "reforming the system" or any
other lofty "change" dream from flyoverland.

Whatever comes out of this medical reform effort will be a shadow of
the original dream, if they get anything done at all. In the end the
bill will be written on K street, not really read by more than a few
staffers and passed in the middle of the night, maybe as a rider on a
defense appropriations bill.

Well, that is the fervent hope of the right, and the insurance companies
lining their pockets.

Be a devout Christian, kill babies, help the elderly meet a 'timely'
death, enlarge government as much as possible, allow the 15 million
illegals in this country to fast track to citizenship (so they can
vote Democrat), take border security measures which will please
Mexico, cause the deaths of more soldiers in his war (Afghanistan),
increase taxes to pay for his enlarged government, and just generally
push as far towards socialism as the country will allow. Eventually,
hopefully, even the stupid masses that voted him in will see the
light.

He is *not* the savior so many proclaimed him to be.

But...you're realizing that. Otherwise you wouldn't be so frustrated.

'Nuff said.

Really?
Absolutely, if Obama had his way. Thank God there are some Republicans
with enough balls to go against the liberal agenda.

What IS Obama's way? Now, not what some lying conservative has told you,
but what REALLY is his "way"?

He has written and spoken his views for a long time, there are plenty of
records of his words.. Just concentrate on the ones before he started
the campaign and you will probably have a pretty good idea where he is
coming from..

Um, we are talking about a very specific subject. And you do realize
that people change their minds all of the time, don't you?

First, the bull**** about killing off the elderly.

On former Sen. Fred Thompson?s radio show, former lieutenant governor of
New York Betsy McCaughey said that the House?s proposed health care bill
contained a provision that would institute mandatory counseling sessions
telling seniors how "to do what?s in society?s best interest ? and cut
your life short." House Minority Leader John Boehner made a slightly
more measured statement, warning that the same provision "may start us
down a treacherous path toward government-encouraged euthanasia if
enacted into law."
Geez, you would think the Republicans would get on the same page. The
