I sprayed the ramp (2 4" X 4" x8' posts with spray grease. Once my son got home we could easily push it up the ramp onto the truck. Hmm, 120V electrical does not work but I'll just bring a long extension cord anyway. |

I bought one of those tankless water heaters and still have it in the box. It's tiny and mounts on the wall so I will gain some space in the garage. My conventional unit is 12 years old and could die any day. The problem is the wiring. I have to get a nice, non-union, electrician to run some fat wires about 15 feet to run it. I don't mess with anything above 120V. I've talked to Tim about my system. I've got natural gas. Here is mine: http://www.valleypower.com/r75lsin.h...hannelid=FROOG It's expensive, but it really cut my natural gas costs, summer and winter. This thing gives me hot water in the whole house, and never ever runs out, even if there's two showers going, the dishwasher, clothes washer, etc. Of course, Tim wouldn't need this much of a heater for his application. |

I'm investigating the on-demand heaters though. sounds better than cooking water 24/7 Yep, that's the thing. You have to keep 40 gallons or so hot all of the time. It won't be long and mine, I got it for $750, will pay for itself. I'm saving a couple of hundred just over the mild winters we have here. |
