Love the look on the band director's face! He's looking at her like
"holy hell!"

I always preferred Maurice Andre playing the piccolo trumpet. These
days, when Wynton Marsalis is playing serious music, he's my favorite
trumpet player. Andre is still with us, thankfully.

Here's an oldie of Andre playing a bit of Bach. A bit more involved than
Taps.

You can actually like both, unless you only purpose is to be a pompous ass.

This Newsgroup post is a natural product. The slight variations in
spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in
no way are to be considered flaws or defects

Pompous ass is one of his finer attributes.

Personally, I like the girl's rendition better than Maurice's. And, I
don't think Maurice was thirteen or so when he did it.

Apparently Maurice thought Il Silenzio was 'involved' enough to put on
an album.

Pompous ass, although not my appellation of choice, is appropriate.

IL Silenzio. (silence at night)

When she hit the first note I knew it would be special.

Wonderful rendition.
