Backroom deals? No!

Let's hear it - "What about Bush and Cheney?"

This is the Willie Brown (former San Francisco Mayor) doctrine.

He says just because you take their money that is no reason not
to
screw them. He had a fairly short political career. Corporate
bribers
want politicians that stay bought.

You know, you really truly are not up to speed on things
political.

Mayor Brown was in the California state legislature for about 30
years,
and was speaker of that state's assembly for about 15. He served
eight
years as mayor of San Francisco. Term limit laws kept him from
seeking a
third term.

Brown is a very, very successful politician.
You are right, I don't follow California politics that much. I do
know
that this statement was made at the end of his career.

I never heard Willie say that. Jessie Unruh was the first one to
say it. Always like Jessie, but he really screwed California. He
was the one who convinced the voters to go for a full time
Legislature. And has been down hill since.

His quote was:
"If you can't drink a lobbyist's whiskey, take his money, sleep with
his women and still vote against him in the morning, you don't
belong in politics."

His first name was Jesse, *not* Jessie. Crikey...and you are a
Californian.

~~ Snerk ~~ that's our Kalif Bill...........

It is Calif Bill. You can not spell, and I made a typo from memory.
You drunk again? Or did your son drink all the beer?

You Dope irregulars are all the same.
First thing, ...........attack family members.

I am not attacking your son. I just asked if he drank all your beer.
And this week I am ingesting some dope. Some prescription stuff as they
did Arthroscopy on my knee yesterday. What is your excuse? You another
Just Plain Stupid?

mmmmmmmm .......... you seem to be costing the medical system a lot
lately.
We'll have to review that.

I pay for supplemental coverage. And being in good health, have not cost
the system much over the last 65 years.

We don't care about the last 65...it's the next 10 or so that concerns us.

Only concerns me and my family. You have nothing in the game. And since
mom is 94.5 years old and still healthy, They are looking at having me
around for another 30 years.

You're lucky.
Took my 95.75 year old mom down to her original home town of St Peters, Cape
Breton last week.
She loved it. A cousin gave mom, me, my wife & three sisters the use of her
house for the three days. It overlooks the marina on the beautiful Bras
d'Or Lakes.
We all had a great time but it was a little rough carrying mom & her
wheelchair up & down a small flight of narrow stairs each time we went out.

better hush up young un. We can fix it so that the medic stops his
weekly visits to your island. And what with yur emergency rooms being
open only every third Thursday, that could put the hurt on your medical
needs.

My medical needs??? A visit to my GP every couple of years.
I live in the 'big city'...our new emergency room is always open...if not a
bit crowded.
