Default Upgraded house battery in Cruis'n Rulz!

Back in '91, I installed a 4D battery box and battery for the house
bank. The onboard charger boiled out the 4D battery next year, and
have been running 27 series ever since. On the outing July 4th, the
current house battery fell on it's face after running the TeeWee for
1/2 hour. Found out why when I got home. Install date '98....
Picked up a deep cycle 4D, has 1315 CCA and 327m RC. This sucker will
run all my stuff for Days. Pulled sumpin in my back loading the thing
in. 130+ pounds. Now, that's a battery.

good deal. that 4-D is about like having two group 27's in parallel.

One advantage about having that giant block of a battery is that
there's less cabling and connections than trying to pair or group
batteries together. and if it goes bad,a t least you know which
battery it is.

On my trawler, I replaced my 3 8D's for one 4D starting battery, and 4
golf cart batteries for my house bank.

Couldn't be happier with the performance. I can run everything off my
inverter, and the golf cart batteries are far easier to get in and out.
