Default Had a good 4th on the boat

We took Cruis'n Rulz out on the Sound-first boat trip this year. Ran
perfect. We anchored off Blake Island-tons of illeagal fireworks going
off all over. Made up for the missing Elliott Bay diasplay this year.

Glad you did. we had nothing but rain and heavy over cast sky's here.
Even this afternoon it looked like it could come busting loose at any
moment, only until about 7:30 did the sky start to clear up. then I
find out that there was a major shower over on my favorite lake
between 3and 4:00 this afternoon,. So much for boating for me this
weekend, but hopefully the weather will be great and I'll get to go
out this coming weekend.

hope to at least.

I looked at the boats anchored out or motoring or paddling slowly (kayaks
with running lights) at Tahoe City for the fireworks. Beautiful full moon
night, no wind, which came up yesterday big time. I have boated for the
fireworks, and found out that is it is a lot safer to be on shore or on a
really big boat to watch them. Fireworks were great, and we could also see
the ones from Incline Village and South Shore. Thought they were great
until we got back to see a broadcast of the Boston Pops and the fireworks.
We talked about making a trip to Boston for the show. How hard and
expensive are hotels and how easy to get a good view?
