It's the Republicans who hypocritically campaign on the issue of "family values" in order to attract the votes of the mostly simple-minded. The Republican politicians don't believe in what they preach, but the want people like you, just hate, florida jim, et cetera, to believe they do. In the past two weeks, we've had Senator Ensign and Governor Sanford, both preachy moralizers, fall from grace. Other preachy moralizers...Senators Vitter and Craig...fell from grace earlier. |

You mean kind of like passing a smoking bill with a cigarette in your mouth or telling us 95% will see no tax increase and then rolling out the new 3 trillion tax agenda? |

What are you bitching about, justhate? You haven't seen any increase in your federal income tax. In fact, you don't have any income, so...why would federal income taxes concern you? Are you championing cigarettes now? Lowlife scumbag. |

All this finger-pointing, tsk-tsk bull**** reminds me of a bunch of gossipy old shrews sitting around their weekly Methodist Women's group. Neither the left or right has a monopoly on hypocrisy or immoral behavior. Both sides of the spectrum preach adherence to certain values, including "family values". I suppose it all comes down to what the definition of "is" is. For shame, all of you sanctimonious hypocrites, both liberal and conservative. Methinks all of you protest too much. |

What's really fun is that you don't have a clue what Sanford was about. He was not a "preachy moralizer" , but rather a fiscal conservative. He brought on the ire of your ilk... the ones who buys their votes with passing out of federal funds and re-distribution of wealth. Pigs at the trough. And you can't put him down for having an affair... or you'd be going back on everything you said to defend your boy Bill. At least Sanford had the morals to admit it, instead of blinking back fake tears and lying under oath. Oh, and the latest is that he and his wife agreed to a trial separation two weeks ago, without any contact from him. She requested him not be there on Father's Day. Like I said, if you're a Demoncrat, you really don't expect much from your representatives, so it's no big deal when they fall from grace, eh? Not far to the bottom. |

There are plenty of quotes around to prove it. He's a typical hypocritical right-wing asshole. Just like you. |
