He was a great guy, and the perfect sidekick. I basically gave up on
those later night shows entirely after Johnny Carson retired. Never
liked Letterman much, never took to Leno. If Carson was the king,
McMahon was the prince.

He was also the ultimate pitchman, from Budweiser to Publisher's
Clearing House.
